The Association of Women Surgeons is pleased to offer
the following networking tools for AWS members. AWS has created
four
discussion lists. As an AWS member, you have the opportunity to
participate in any or all four of these lists.
AWS would like to thank Astra-Zeneca
for their sponsorship of the AWS Listserv.

- Balancing-Life: This list gives you the
opportunity to discuss relationships or any family and life issues
that you may have. Join this list to ask questions and share advice
and ideas on how to balance your job, your family, your friends,
your life.
- Residents-Students: Designed to assist medical students and residents, this
list will help those of you who are the "up & coming" generation
of surgeons. If you are no longer students or residents, you can still join this
list and be there to offer advice and suggestions to those who are still in
school or residency.
- Breast: For any breast or general
surgeons. Use this list to keep in touch with surgeons in your field
and learn from each other.
-
Private Practice: Whether you are already in a private practice or are in the
process of starting your own, use this listserv to keep in touch
with others and identify and address concerns specific to this
sector. You may also consider joining the AWS
Private Practice
Committee to share your knowledge and experience with others.
-
Academic Practice: Members can keep in touch
with peers and colleagues by subscribing to this new list
dedicated to those in academia.
