AWS Patrons Helped Us Celebrate our 25th
Anniversary
The AWS 25th Anniversary Celebration events took place during the 2006 American College of
Surgeons Clinical Congress, and included a Gala Awards dinner on Friday
October 6th as well as an educational program the following day. Dr. Kathryn D.
Anderson, president of the American College of Surgeons, was our guest
speaker at the Gala Dinner and other eminent women surgeons were highlighted
as we took a retrospective trip through the history of women in surgery.
