This Cutting Edge Conversation will be a collaboration between the Association of Women Surgeons (AWS) and the Latino Surgical Society (LSS) and will focus on “Building a Surgical Career in the United States: Navigating Immigration, Training, and Leadership.” This panel discussion will address practical challenges faced by international medical graduates and aspiring Latinx surgeons pursuing surgical careers in the United States. Topics will include immigration, surgical training, mentorship, career development, and leadership. The session will feature a moderated Q&A with experienced surgeons, followed by questions from the audience.
