Abstract Submission Open for the 2018 AWS Starr Medical Student and Resident Research Forum
Thursday, May 31, 2018
Abstract submissions are now open for the AWS Starr Medical Student and Resident/Fellow Research Forum at the AWS Annual Conference, October 20-23 in Boston.
You may submit up to two abstracts. Abstracts are limited to 2250 characters and must include an Introduction, Methods & Materials, Results, and Conclusion. Incomplete abstracts will not be considered for the forum. Case reports and literature reviews will not be accepted.
Please submit all abstracts by July 31.
You may apply to become a member during the submission period, but your application must be complete with dues paid prior to the submission deadline to be eligible. You can send abstracts that were presented at other conferences, unless you are already presenting the same abstract at the ACS Clinical Congress. You cannot send an abstract on a project that will be published prior to the conference.
All abstracts are being considered for a poster presentation at the 2018 AWS Annual Conference. If your abstract is accepted, you must register for the Annual Conference and present your work in person during the Scientific Session at the conference. Please note that this session does not conflict with the medical student or resident activities at the ACS Clinical Congress.
Recognition and a monetary prize will be awarded for the top three medical student presentations and top three resident/fellow presentations. The top student and resident/fellow presentation winners will also receive a complimentary ticket to the AWS Foundation Awards Dinner on Monday, October 22.
Please feel free to contact firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions. We look forward to receiving your application!
