The Association of Women Surgeons is thrilled to announce the theme of the 2024 AWS Annual Conference, taking place in San Francisco on Friday, October 18 and Saturday, October 19: Be Brave, Be Bold, Become. The AWS Planning Committee has been hard at work designing the conference schedule, including presentations by leaders in surgery, leadership development, networking events, and more. Save the date, and as a friendly reminder, the conference is taking place one weekday earlier than in recent years. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months!

AWS is pleased to announce that the 2024 Annual Conference and 2024 AWSF Awards Dinner & Gala will be hosted at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis! This luxury hotel channels the vibrant cultures of the SoMA neighborhood and reflects the creative energies of the City by the Bay. We look forward to hosting our annual meeting in this gorgeous space! All room reservations in San Francisco should be made through the American College of Surgeons (ACS) room block for the 2024 Clinical Congress. According to the reservation site, you can book now to receive discounted nightly rates with no upfront cost and the opportunity to change or cancel your reservation without penalty per the hotel's cancellation policy. Parking: If you are driving to the San Francisco Marriott Marquis, valet parking is available at the hotel for $91.20 per night.
