Panelists will discuss AI's current and future role in surgical practice, covering clinical benefits, validation and bias concerns, governance and liability, and the impact on surgical training. The session includes a guided panel discussion followed by open audience Q&A. RegisterAWS Journal ClubAugust 4 from at 8pm ET | REGISTER HEREThe AWS Journal Club is an international educational initiative dedicated to teaching the landmark surgical trials that have shaped the field of General Surgery while promoting evidence-based practice among medical students, residents, fellows, and attending surgeons. Our Summer 2026 session will be on August 4, 2026 from 7pm to 8:15pm CST over Zoom. This session's topic is on Acute Care Surgery. Journal Club attendees who choose to participate in our educational research study may be eligible to receive the Association of Women Surgeons Landmark Surgical Research Certificate after attending the session and completing the required pre and post session surveys.
