Leadership Education

AWS is seeking women surgeons in practice who are eager to build their leadership skills in order to prepare for an anticipated or recently appointed leadership position. The "Breaking the Glass Ceiling" Leadership Education program will provide up to $10,000 for 2-4 AWS member awardees to attend a leadership conference or course of her choosing (either virtual or in-person).

AAST/AWS 2023 82nd Annual Meeting Scholarship

The American Association for the Surgery of Trauma is offering one AWS member a scholarship to attend the 2023 AAST Annual Meeting in Anaheim, CA from September 19-23! Scholarships are open to medical students, residents, and in-training students who are members of AWS. 

The scholarship includes four nights in a hotel, meeting registration, and a $200 per diem. Airfare and ground transportation not included and is the responsibility of the scholarship recipient.
