AWS Partnership with Panamerican Trauma Society

We are pleased to announce a new partnership between AWS and the Panamerican Trauma Society (PTS). Both organizations serve a diverse community of surgeons, providing mentorship, sponsorship and advocacy for their members. We are excited to partner in offering an opportunity to an AWS member who has the desire and ability to work with PTS in planning a special session for their upcoming 2024 meeting in Lima, Peru.

The selected representative will sit on the conference planning committee for PTS and have the opportunity to participate as a speaker or panel discussant during the meeting. This opportunity is open to full members (attending surgeons) who possess the following qualifications:

Required

1. Current or retired trauma surgeon
2. Member of AWS

Preferred

1. Significant involvement with AWS including current or past leadership AND/OR
2. Completed AWS Signature Speaker Series
3. Seeking or plans to seek academic promotion for which international presence would be required/desired
   
   

All interested members should submit a short (one paragraph) statement of interest that addresses the above qualifications through the form below by September 18^th, 2023.
