AAS-AWS Surgical Investigator Course
This award will support one AWS faculty member to attend the AAS/SUS Surgical Investigator’s Course held in February 2027 prior to the Academic Surgical Congress.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be a member of AWS and AAS or have applications for membership pending.
- In good standing with their training program or institution
- Based at a U.S. medical school or hospital

- Personal statement (500 words max) addressing:
- Why they wish to attend the AAS/SUS course
- How the experience aligns with their career goals
- How the grant will enable attendance
