Announcing the 2024 LSS & AWS Visiting Professor: Dr. Mecker Moller
The Latino Surgical Society and the Association of Women Surgeons are pleased to announce that Mecker Moller, MD, FACS, DABS, MAMSE will serve as their first co-sponsored annual Visiting Professor! Dr. Moller will heighten the visibility of Latino surgeons and serve as a positive role model for medical students and trainees of LatinX heritage at Weill Cornell Medical Center.
The 2024 LSS/AWS Visiting Professor is Mecker Moller, MD, FACS, DABS, MAMSE. Dr. Moller provides lectures in the following topic areas:
- Advocating for Women minorities in Surgery, Global Surgery, and Surgical Education
- International Collaborations,
- Developing Peritoneal Carcinomatosis Programs
- Embarking on racial health disparities research
